CASE (s) to be Repaired |
Depends if you desire for the "Case"
to be repaired |
My basic shop fee is $60.00 an hour. Parts are extra. Now
it does not take a lot of time to do a clock, so don't worry. I have it
planned out and my prices.
The clock gets reassembled and test run for 2 to 3 weeks
to ensure that it is running to my satisfaction. 400 Day clocks may take
longer. I will keep you informed of the progress by e-mail.
Now I will not just replace a part or do any of those
"it only needs this" type of thing, as I cannot guarantee a clock
movement unless I do the complete job, so please don't ask me to. I offer a
2 year guarantee and you can find out more about that on my Guarantee page.
However, you can mail me only the movement, and I will
repair it, provided it is sent to me with any keys and pendulums and other
hardware associated with the clocks movement.
If you want me to pick up the clock, I will if you are
located within a 40 mile radius of my home, and I will charge $30.00 to pick
it up and deliver it to your home.
Now about checks. I will take personal checks, but if they
bounce I will charge a $40.00 service fee, so save yourself the trouble and
cost and mail me a good check.
I don't take credit cards yet, but will in the future. The
work starts as soon as the check clears the bank, which takes about two
weeks.
Prices again are as follows:
400 day clocks are between $120.00 to $220.00
to repair. That includes a new temperature compensating suspension spring
and set up. If you want me to re-polish the brass Contact Me.
And
restoration of the clock face will depend on you, if you want to do
that Contact Me. I don't do that myself, but I send them
out to be done by a specialist in the field. Polishing and face restoration
are optional however, and you do not need to do these if you don't want to.
Cuckoo clocks are $90.00 - $250.00 to restore. Parts for these are
expensive, and final price will be determined after I have examined the
piece. I will notify you of it. I charge a $40.00 fee in case you don't want
me to do the work, and the cost of shipping the clock back to you.
Wall clocks, such as Regulators, Banjo's, ect, are between
$150.00 to $350.00. It depends if you want the case restored too. That will
be sent out.
